I was walking my dog along Hope Street in Old Glossop, when nature took its course Bess relieved herself on the pavement.
Being a responsible dog owner I whipped out a plastic bag and picked it up. A few yards down the street was a wheely bin in someone's yard facing the road and as I walked past, I lifted the lid dropped the bag inside.
Almost instantly the door of the house burst open, and a man, wine glass in hand, exclaimed at me "Could you not do that please!"
I responded that I was "sorry 'sir'" and that I hadn't meant to upset him.
After passing me the plastic bag he complained that he "had children you know," again reiterating I should not do this again..
Is justifiable for me to be confused and hurt by this incident?
I got a text today from 07890826450 saying (verbatim):

They then tried calling be several times throughout the day, but said nothing when I picked up - they even tried from a different number: 07917116689.
Funny...
In a recent survey of over 9000 participants, the follow was data found:
401% of people thought that Tim Dobson was l33t hax0r
124% of people were all like "Tim Dobson? Who's that? LOL!"
11% of people abstainedOnly Tim Dobson answered "No, and I'm taking this very serious."

My ageing laptop is somewhat trademarked:

For the record the sticker on the top right represents a sailing boat and stands for GDSC Glossop and District Sailing Club.
On the left of it is a sticker from the Free Software Foundation, in the top left is one from LUG Radio, between it and the Bad Vista sticker is a GPLv3 sticker. In the middle the GNU's head and the GNU + Linux sticker both represent GNU, whilst the sticker on the bottom right is from DefectiveByDesign.
What ever they tell you, you can never have enough stickers.
Is your laptop anything like as stickered as mine?
A few weeks ago, Easter Sunday in fact, it randomly snowed, and because it had *actually snowed* when I didn't have anything really planned I went sledging.
I took my camera with me and took several videos:
I have finally got round to re-encoding these videos from quicktime.
(the person who invented a camera to encode to quicktime needs his head seeing to in my opinion, i suppose it is better than realmedia though!)
I have been using Last.fm for a long time now, but I have always avoided StumbleUpon because I have been lazy and presumed that I wouldn't want it.
Today I installed the Firefox extension to see what it was like.
To put it mildly, I was impressed. After telling it what I was into, it was able to give me websites that I thought were really interesting and useful, though there are some which I disagree with subtly - too subtly for it's preferences engine to understand.
After reading about the deadly sins of Web Design, and subsequently counting how many I had been forced to do in the last six months for college, I have set out to create my own list of deadly sins.
